A self - taught Sangrur (Punjab) based artist, he has not received any formal training or education in the art of painting. He is inspired by the legendary painters of Punjab. He is inclined towards the spiritual and religious beliefs. He has painted a number of paintings based on Sikh Religion. His deep passion for art of painting is clearly visible in his paintings. He started painting from a very young age. He started taking his work seriously in the year 1993 and adopted it as a profession.
